About Us


Two individuals began researching the concept of Latin Heritage Cards in April 2006. On June 10, 2010, the organization was founded by three individuals, who have traveled to various countries of Latin origin and have embraced the history and culture. They all thought that it would be selfish of them not to share their passion and enthusiasm about Latin Heritage.

As we continue to build this organization, we have found individuals that compliment and live the mission of the company. With regards to experience, we have a team whose members have held managerial and project management positions at top institutions in: Education, Entertainment, Spanish Language Broadcasting/Cable, Marketing, Research, Sales, Supply Chain, Banking & Strategy, Corporate Event Planning.

Some of these companies are Fortune 1000 and highly respected in the Latin community.

Latin Heritage Cards was created to promote the continuous learning of Latin history, while providing duality to entertain and engage with family, friends, associates, educational institutions and more.

Timeline


Some of our key achievements since Latin Heritage Cards launched during Mes de la Hispanidad (specifically on September 26, 2010, Haverstraw, NY) are listed below and referenced in the Press Release and Gallery pages;

  • October 24, 2010- featured on WABC Tiempo Show.

  • October 2010- exhibited and participated at Latino Upstate Summit in Albany, New York.

  • December 2010- we received a letter from the Presidents' Office in Costa Rica thanking us.

  • January 2011- featured in SUNY Oswego Alumni Magazine and Examiner.com.

  • March 2011- exhibited and participated at the NYSABE (New York State Association for Bilingual Education) Conference.

  • April 2011- exhibited and participated at the Latino Book and Family Festival in Chicago, IL.

  • May 2011- participated and donated Latin Heritage Cards at the 100 Hispanic Women of Westchester event "An Evening of Literature by Latinas".

  • May-June 2011- featured in the NYU Spanish Bilingual Education Technical Assistance Center (SBETAC) Newsletter.

  • July 2011- featured in the Poughkeepsie Journal News.

  • August 2011- featured and participated in the Dominican Parade and Festival in Haverstraw, New York.

  • October 2011- featured in the New York Daily Newspaper (Sunday, 10/2/11, page 13).

  • October 2011- provided YMCA Latino Youth Conference with over 125 decks, which were partially donated.

  • October 2011- participated in the "Una Noche Elegante" Scholarship and Awards Banquet in Albany, NY.

  • October 2011- "En Español Edition" launched in October 2011, which then takes the product to bilingual status.

  • January 2012- featured on NBC4 (Visiones) on January 28, 2012.

  • February 2012- accepted on Walmarts "Get On The Shelf" contest. Voting begins March 7, 2012. Click here to visit the promotional page!

  • March 2012- State University of New York (SUNY)- Morrisville - is the 1st store to sell Latin Heritage Cards.

  • April 2012- Latin Heritage Cards donated product to the Latin American Youth Center in Washington, D.C for the annual gala.

  • April 2012- Prez LHC skydived for Latin Heritage Cards...let's see what's next...

  • May 11, 2012- Latin Heritage Cards was added to the 2nd location Word Up Community Bookshop in Washington Heights, NY.

  • June 10, 2012 (2nd Anniversary of being established)- La Casa Azul Bookstore located at 143 E. 103rd Street, New York, NY 10029 now sells Latin Heritage Cards.

  • June 13, 2012- Latino Commission on AIDS provided Latin Heritage Cards a letter for supporting the event. Click here to view the letter!

  • August 3, 2012- Latin Heritage Cards received a notice from La Casa Azul Bookstore that our product has sold out. We have to provide new inventory. Thank You God for this opportunity and thank you to La Casa Azul Bookstore for the opportunity. And thank you to our supporters.

  • September 2012- Prez LHC was invited to be the Hispanic Heritage Month keynote speaker at Ogilvy & Mather (one of the top global advertising companies) LatinRed Committee Meetings.

  • October 2012- Latin Heritage Cards partnered with WNBC-4 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the 1st Unidos @ NBC Universal.

  • October 4, 2012- Latin Heritage Cards partnered with Ogilvy & Mathers for the La Feria Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. Click here to view the letter!

  • October 25, 2012- Latin Heritage Cards won the New Latino Business of the Year Award via New York State Small Business Development.

  • November 8, 2012- Latin Heritage Cards donated 144 decks to MALDEF (Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund) Gala.

  • February 13, 2013- Latin Heritage Cards co-sponsored SIPS for Sickle Cell Gala at Lexicon NYC.
